I have been buying cheap and expensive items on the internet for a while, I have had a great experience with Amazon.com. But 2 weeks ago I decided to try with Buy.com, well, it went pretty bad.
I was looking for a Memory Card, they had it in their website marked as "In stock", the status changed to "Sent to warehouse" really fast (of course after they charged my Credit Card), then, stayed there for 1 week, now it is "On Order" which means:
"We are making every effort to ship your product to you as soon as possible. Unless your item is on pre-order, our supplier has not given us an expected arrival date.
We'll send you eMails updating you on the status of your order. You may cancel any item that is not in stock up to the day the product ships by clicking on 'cancel item' from within your order summary."First, they never sent an email informing the order was put "On Order", second, when I called to cancel the order, they said that they were going to "Request a Cancel", and I had to wait from 3 to 5 business days to see if their deparment would cancel the order.
Buy.com, if you are offering a product, say the truth, you don't have it, ok, let me decide if I want to wait. You are taking too much time, let me cancel the order, don't ask me to wait until you see if you can deliver it before the next 5 business days after the day I cancelled the order.
To all those guys having the same issue, this is their Support Number Buy.com:
1-800-800-0800 or 1-877-880-1030. I wonder why they make so hard to find it.
